Game server panel basics

Your game server is managed from the panel at game.overnight.host — start it, watch the console, edit files and upload content from one place.

Power & console

Use Start / Stop / Restart to control the server. The live console streams logs and lets you run in-game commands (op a player, change the level, etc.).

Files & worlds

Open the file manager

Browse your server's files in the panel.

Upload a world

Stop the server, upload your world folder (or a zip to extract), then point the config at it.

Restart

Start the server and confirm the world loaded in the console.

Plugins & mods

Drop plugin/mod files into the right folder (e.g. plugins or mods) via the file manager or SFTP, then restart. Match the file to your server type and version. Our guides cover Minecraft flags, Rust/Oxide, CS, ARK and more.

Big modpack? More RAM helps — see the game server RAM calculator.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Which games can I run?

Minecraft (Paper/Vanilla/Forge), Rust, Counter-Strike, Team Fortress 2, Garry's Mod, ARK, Insurgency and Mumble voice — picked at order time. See /game-server-hosting/.

Can I upload my existing world?

Yes — upload it in the file manager (stop the server first). Moving from another host? We'll do the whole migration free — see /migrate/.

How do I add more slots/RAM?

Upgrade your plan from your account or email support; more RAM is the usual lever for performance.
