Recover access to your server

Locked out? Don't panic — because the VPS is yours on real virtualization, you have an out-of-band console and a clean reinstall as a last resort.

Use the panel console

Log in at vps.overnight.host and open your VPS's console. It's like sitting at the machine's screen — it works even if SSH/RDP is blocked, so you can fix a bad firewall rule or reset a password from there.

Common lock-outs

Last resort: reinstall

If you can't get in and there's nothing to save, reinstall from the panel for a clean machine with a fresh password.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Where's the console?

In the VPS panel at vps.overnight.host — open your server and look for Console. It connects to the screen directly, bypassing SSH/RDP.

Can support reset my password for me?

We can help you recover access — email support from your account email. For security we verify it's really your account first.

I blocked myself with a firewall rule.

Open the panel console (it isn't affected by your firewall) and undo the rule, e.g. ufw allow 22/tcp or ufw disable.
